Welcome to the Swing-Roc website. We are a North West based dance company with hundreds of dedicated members of all ages. Swing-Roc is a modern, stylish, partner dance for all styles of music. It's origins are in French-jive & it looks like a cross between 50's Rock 'N' Roll & sexy Latin American dances like the Salsa, but it's much easier to learn & more versatile than any other dance around.

Swing-Roc evenings are more than just a dance class. With lots of "freestyle" practice time to practice your moves, friendly people & a licensed bar. You can get fit, meet new people & learn to dance all at once. Its a great night out for all.

We guarantee that you will be dancing by the end of your first class! All our DJ's play a range of music from 40's swing through soul, disco & pop including current chart hits, so you should find yourself dancing to all your favourite music too!

Once again 'summer' is upon us!
For those of you not lucky enough to be heading on their holidays its time to get out your bikini's (if you dare) and your 'tropical' summer wear and head on down to Alford Hall for this years 'Tropical Freestyle'!!
Those of you who were there last year will know it was a fabulous night with some even more fabulous outfits. Once again there will be prizes for the best dressed.

For those of you who joined us on the last Lets Slow it Down Workshop we are going to be doing PART 2. If you missed it , don't worry you will still be able to pick up some great moves so you too can 'strut your stuff' on the dance floor!
